DSOG ønsker, at udpege et medlem til en følgegruppe vedrørende ny MTV om robot-assisteret kirurgi. Interesserede gynækologer bedes sende en kort motiveret ansøgning til Pia Ertberg (pia.ertberg.02@regionh.dk) senest 25. april 2014. Regionernes sundhedsdirektører besluttede på møde i Danske Regioner december 2013, at der skulle igangsættes en ny MTV vedrørende robot-assisteret kirurgi til behandling af udvalgte kirurgiske indgreb relateret til livmoder, prostata, nyrer og tarm. Projektets overordnede formål er at undersøge kliniske effektforhold, organisatoriske forhold og omkostningseffektiviteten af robot-assisterede kirurgiske indgreb sammenlignet med konventionelle laparoskopiske og/eller åbne indgreb eller andre indsatser blandt patienter med behov for udvalgte kirurgiske indgreb. Projektet vurderes at kunne færdiggøres med aflevering af en rapport januar 2015. Følgegruppens opgave vil være at kommentere projektbeskrivelsen via mail samt diskutere og kommentere 1. udkast til den endelige MTV-rapport på følgegruppemøde til efteråret.

Forårsmødet 2014
Det årlige Forårsmøde afholdes 11.-12. april 2014 på Hindsgavl slot i Middelfart. Fredagens emne er vaccinationer i gynækologi og obstetrik, mens vi om lørdagen fokuserer på anti-aging i fysiologisk, medicinsk og kirurgisk perspektiv.
Fredag aften er der middag og fest, mens Per Helge Sørensen er hyret til underholdningen med uddrag fra sit anmelderroste show 'Djøf med løg(n)'. Læs mere om underholdningen her.

Revision af specialeplan 2014 og 2015
Repræsentanter fra DSOG og Gyn-Obs-repræsentanter udpeget fra Regionerne skal i løbet af 2014 og 2015 deltage i en arbejdsgruppe under Sundhedsstyrelsen vedrørende den kommende revision af specialeplanen.SST vil senere i processen have en ansøgningsrunde, hvor alle regioner og private sygehuse skal ansøge om de specialfunktioner, de ønsker at varetage. Dette munder ud i den endelige tildeling af specialfunktioner i den nye Specialeplan. I den indledende proces ønsker vi fra DSOG at høre, om eventuelle nye planer, der ligger hos afdelinger/subspecialer i fht. områder, hvor der planlægges/ønskes at ansøge om specialfunktioner.
Der er altså ikke tale om en ansøgning via DSOG, men en mulighed for at vi kan danne os et fagligt overblik over eventuelle nye kommende specialfunktioner, som vi kan inddrage i vores indledende oplæg til Sundhedsstyrelsen.

The NFOG 2014 congress: a venue for learning and interaction

Stillingen indebærer i vekslende omfang rådgivning i enkeltsager, mødedeltagelse, deltagelse i udvalg og arbejdsgrupper samt deltagelse i redegørelser, lovforberedelse, vejledninger, tilsynsplanlægning, specialeplanlægning m.m.Ud over rådgivningsopgaver indebærer stillingen også overvågning af udviklingen på eget fagområde bl.a. med henblik på Sundhedsstyrelsens generelle overvågnings- og tilsynsopgaver.

There will be 3 prizes of DKK 10.000 for best posters and 3 prizes of DKK 10.000 for best oral presentations. 2.The Ingemar Ingemarsson reward: SEK 10.000 for the best oral obstetrical presentation. 3. The travelling award for oral and poster presentations from the Center for Gender Medicine at Karolinska Institutet. 4. The young scientist award of DKK 20.000. 5. The Acta Prize for most cited article in the preeeding years - DKK 10.000. 6. There will a thesis presentation session where one doctor from each country who has registered her/his thesis at the NFOG thesis registry in 2012 and 2013, will be invited to give a presentation. The NFOG wants to remind new doctors to register their thesis at the NFOG website and that every year one entry will get a prize of DKK 2.500 (thesis lottery).

Se mere og ansøg på NFOG.org The purpose of the NFOG Fund is to support further development of professional skills, research, and clinical and scientific collaboration in the fields of obstetrics and gynecology within the Nordic countries.
Who can apply: Members of the national societies of NFOG who are specialists in obstetrics and gynecology or trainees who have completed two years of specialist training at the time of application deadline. Every month an applicant has been employed full time in a department of obstetrics and gynecology will count as specialist training. Members with PhD degree can count up to 12 months of study time in this respect. Only future activities according to application deadlines or ongoing activities already supported by the NFOG Fund, will be considered for support.
The following fields within obstetrics and gynecology can be covered: 1: Clinical or scientific visits outside country of residence with the purpose of improving skills and/or developing and sharing expertise. 2: Voluntary or project work in or regarding developing countries. 3: Courses outside the applicant´s country of residence. 4: Collaborative clinical or scientific projects between members of the national societies of NFOG. 5: The 5 national societies of NFOG can apply for the coverage of expenses to bring lectures from the other Nordic countries to speak at meetings arranged by the societies.
In case the number of applications exceeds the funding, applications regarding activities within the Nordic countries will have the highest priority. In general, support is given for one year at a time.
The grants can be given for:
- Course fee.
- Traveling expenses: Public transport, air fare on economy class, only one return ticket.
- Modest accommodation up to one month (for longer visits hotel is not accepted).
- Meeting expenses for Nordic collaborative studies (point 4 above).
- Modest expenses required in order to work in developing countries (point 2 above).
- Modest speakers fee (point 5 above).
- Only expenses of NFOG members can be covered by the grants. This rule does not apply for lectures at societies meetings (point 5 above).
Grants cannot be given for:
- Congresses, symposias, pre and post congress courses.
- Courses arranged by NFOG.
- Courses which are mandatory towards specialist recognition in obstetrics and gynecology or for doctoral (PhD) degree.
- Salaries or daily allowances.
Application must include:
- The NFOG Fund application form which can be found at www.nfog.org , including applicant’s motivations and reasons for applying.
- Short Curriculum Vitae (no more than two pages). In collaborative projects, short CV from the principal investigator of each participating Nordic country
- Detailed budget.
- Copy of course announcement or short description of project.
- In collaborative projects, short description of the research / clinical project, including information on appropriate approvals. Total length up to five pages. Please include, if possible, names of all NFOG members.
- In case of course or clinical visit: letter of recommendation from head of department.
- In case of clinical visit or voluntary work: acceptance letter from head of department at the clinic where the visit is to take place or the organization responsible for the program.
- Information on whether or not the applicant has applied for or received other grants for the same purpose, and how much.
A short written report to the NFOG Board must be send to the NFOG Treasurer (lousen@dadlnet.dk), the NFOG webmaster (secher@dadlnet.dk) and the Scientific Committee (nfogfund@nfog.org) within 3 months after the activity. The report will be published on the Website. Expenses will be refunded, when the NFOG Treasurer receives documentation of expenses and the written report. Claim form can be found at www.nfog.org
Deadline for applications
Application deadlines are March 1st and October 1st each year. Applicants will be notified within two months of the application dates.
