NFOG VISITOR PROGRAM

Purpose:

· To enhance opportunities to improve clinical skills and/or develop and share the expertise the departments by visiting a highly qualified Nordic Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

· Promote Nordic co-operation and networking.

NFOG support:

· To cover travelling expenses, accommodation (if not arranged by the hosting clinic) and daily expenses. The total maximum support will be decided by the board of NFOG.

Length:

· Minimum 1 week.

Applicants:

· Trainees at the final stages of specialization or specialists working at hospitals.

Applications must include:

· Short CV of the visitor

· Length of the visit

· Goal of the visit and how it will be achieved according to the plan accepted in advance by the hosting and sending clinics.

· Budget of the visit, a full salary from the sending clinic is mandatory

Deadline of applications is October 1^st , 2004 and they should be sent to the secretary of NFOG Satu Suhonen.

Report:

A written report to the NFOG board should be sent within 3 months after the visit. The report should include evaluation of the visit by the visitor, the clinic hosting the visit and the clinic sending a visitor.
