NSGO VISITOR PROGRAM

Purpose: To enhance opportunities to improve clinical skills and/or develop

and share the expertise of the departments by visiting a highly qualified Nordic Department managing patients with gynecologic oncologic diseases/cancer.

-Promote Nordic co-operation and networking.

NSGO support: To cover traveling expenses, accommodation (if not arranged by the hosting clinic) and a daily allowance of 387 DKK/day. The total

maximum support is 15 000 DKK/applicant. 4 visitors during the year 2005.

Length: • Minimum 1 week.

Applicants: Trainees at the final stages of subspecialization or subspecialists working at hospitals in the field of gynaecologic oncology.

Applications must include:

- Short CV of the visitor

- Budget and length of the visit, a full salary from the sending clinic is mandatory

- Goal of the visit and how it will be achieved according to the plan accepted in the hosting and sending clinic

A written report to the NSGO board should be sent within 3 months

after the visit. The report should include evaluation of the visit by the

visitor, the clinic hosting the visit and the clinic sending a visitor.
